Disappointing Levi's 501's

I received the 4 pair and am disappointed. They are not the same quality as the 501s I purchased 2 years ago. What is the "code" for having yellow thread on the back pocket emblem instead of orange......"Cheap?" They are significantly thinner and the inner seam is single stitched instead of double stitched. I have never seen and single stitch on "Original" Levi's. Carhart standard jeans are triple stitched on both the inside and outside leg seams.

jeans fit ok but the material seems a bit off! not sure what it is but they seem cheaper and a lot different than the jeans I bought 6 or 8 years ago.
