Old School Fit

I am slightly shocked, as this fit has finally returned after going away in the ‘90s. As someone of a certain age who was a teenager in the 1970s, this fit feels like those pants (although not flared). In those days there were no different cuts; you wore women’s jeans or men’s jeans. Women’s jeans were cut so that the waist was above the belly button. If you are long-waisted, especially, this is a great looking and very comfortable fit. If you tuck in your top, it will stay tucked when you sit down. They make you look skinnier and taller. The bit of stretch in the new fabric is a help because we are not as slim as we used to be.

I am a new Levi fan after years of wearing more expensive brands and have fallen in love with the fit and comfort of the 724 slim straight jeans. They have just the right stretch and are flattering as well as comfortable. They also check the fashion box for a straight leg jean and have become my go to. I have 3 washes and will be getting more.
