SNUG

The denim and overall quality is outstanding. Unfortunately these fit very snug in the crotch/ seat. I am 5’11/ 155lbs with skinny legs and the 30/32 are SNUG. They do not fit nor look as wide as they are advertised. If they are snug on my chicken legs then anyone with any glutes or thighs could not wear these, at least not at their normal size. I’m disappointed as this fit just like the slim fit jeans I’m trying to get away from. From the knee down they fit great.

Get Rid of the Button Fly!

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I never "got" the button fly feature. I bought several pairs of 501s bevause I liked the soft grey color that they came in at the time. The fit could have been a bit looser for a guy like me, but I actually paid the price of the jeans themselves to have the buttons replaced by zippers. A bit (not much) too tight in certain areas and button flys (or is it flies?) Those are my only negative opinions. Had they had a little more stretch and zippers instead of buttons, I would have rated these a 5.

Wow. I've bought these jeans before and am stunned at what it's become. Thin, stiff, poorly cut, different shape - a caricature of what the product was a year ago. The buttons on the fly don't even close properly. Price isn't lower just quality has disappeared. What a shameful sellout.
