Nice shirt but size runs small

This denim shirt is of great quality. It has a nice weight and feel. The only critique I have is that it runs small. I purchased this for my husband who is 165 lbs and 5’8”. He normally wears a large or even a size medium. The size large in this shirt was too small. I re-ordered him a size extra-large and it fit well.

Looks amazing and holds up its size and color after a few washes. This product runs smaller than normal so I would get an extra size larger. Its not tight but also not loose like I like to wear my shirts.

Great fit, true to size shirt from Levi’s. The material is soft and lightweight weight. Cool design and hasn’t lost its color or softness with machine washing. Great workday or date night shirt!

What I was Looking For

I purchased this for myself ( female) because I could not find a decent black shirt sleeve shirt. Wasn’t too sure about size ( used size chart & tried on husbands shirts). I have many Levi’s denim so I knew that brand can run small, and I checked out reviews here. I was concerned the “100% cotton” was going to be heavy denim but it is not ( thrilled), it is in fact 100% Indian cotton. Washed in cold, put on permanent press cycle and removed while damp, hung to dry. It has a few slight wrinkles, has not shrunk. It’s fits a bit oversized and the sleeves are to my elbow but I’m ok with that. It’s just about what I wanted. Long enough to wear out or stay tucked in, unlike many women’s blouses. Came sooner than expected. One gripe: no packing slip or receipt from Macys!!! Glad I don’t have to return it.

I like the shirt but it does run small...glad I was able to find an XL to see that is was more of a size Large...so whatever size you need, go one size up!

I loved the shirt and its feel but it runs a bit small, I usually wear size L and it sits tight around the belly. Will exchange by a size XL to see how that works.

Not my style

This shirt has a scoop hem, which is longer front/back and shorter at the hips. And the shirt is very short; the hem at the hips barely touches the tops of my pants. (I’m 5’ 9” for info.) So if I tuck the hem in, it comes out easily. To wear it, either don’t sit down 😂, or wear it outside of the pants, not tucked in. Not my style. Otherwise OK for looks and fit.

I’m giving this shirt a 3 star. The quality of the shirt is not the best. After one wash, it got extremely wrinkled and it was removed from the dryer immediately after the cycle was complete. I ironed it and it looks better, but I am not a fan of that much maintenance for a shirt like that. It is also a lint/fuzz magnet. It fits well and is not scratchy or uncomfortable. It is a decent shirt, but too high maintenance.

An easy piece that you can dress up or down. Fits pretty true to size. I will say, I wish the material was a little softer. It feels stiff and boxy on my body. Maybe that will change after a few washes. I don’t suggest putting in the dryer. Material would definitely shrink up and leave you with a crop top.
