I'm 4'11" with a slightly athletic build and weigh between 116–118 pounds. I normally wear Petite Size 2 and dress size XS (hips 36", thighs 20"). I ordered size 27, and they fit great! The 100% cotton version (Luxor Heat Light Wash) feels lighter and roomier around my thighs while hugging me in all the right places. The low-stretch version (No Referee Short - Medium Wash) feels a little tighter around the thighs compared to the Luxor pair, maybe because they're not as distressed, but they still feel amazing. Both styles have no back gaps, and the high waist hits right at my belly button while beautifully highlighting my curves from the front and back.

I heard that you should go two sizes up from your regular size for the 501’s and that is accurate.

My go to shorts for summer! I have them in 3 different colors. I have a smaller waist and thicker thighs. These fit like a glove. I'm 5'3 135lbs and wear a size 28.

Love the New Look Dark Wash! Just got out my summer clothes and I have a plethora of 501 shorts in 28 and 29. For buyers, they do stretch. I have 28s from 10 years ago that are now a good 3 inches bigger than the 29s that just arrived. After wash, use a wooden hanger to stretch to your content and eureka! I've got a size 30 on the way (the largest I've ever ordered) to see if they fit loosely on the go. Thanks Levi's for the great sale!

Classic. Nothing like the red tag. I size up from 26 to 27 for comfort. So flattering. White shorts are hard to find. Theses are super duper and I’ll have them forever!

Love these! I am 5ft 90lbs and it was hard to find a pair of shorts that fit me. After months of searching I pulled the trigger and ordered a size 23 online bc I can’t find that size anywhere in stores. So happy I did! Fit great and look great. Love the quality can’t wait to get more.
