Voici Jen Sharkey, tailleuse chez Levi'sᴹᴰ à San Francisco. Elle se promenait récemment lorsque son attention fut attirée par des enfants qui se servaient de craies de trottoir pour transformer leur grise ruelle en œuvres d'art qui lui ont rappelé des vitraux. Elle a eu une idée : Et si elle fabriquait un blouson camionneur en vitrail ?

Jen a décidé de transformer son Camionneur au moyen de matériaux qu'elle avait déjà à la maison. Puis, elle a bien voulu nous montrer comment. Vous pouvez maintenant créer votre propre blouson camionneur en vitrail. Il suffit de suivre les étapes suivantes.

LE NÉCESSAIRE :

  • Blouson camionneur
  • Peinture, 3 couleurs ou plus
  • Palette et pinceaux
  • Ruban-cache étroit
  • Ruban-cache large
  • Sèche-cheveux
  • Fer à repasser
  • Linge à repasser

ÉTAPE 1:

Tracez votre motif sur le dos du Camionneur avec du ruban à masquer. Vous pouvez soit improviser, soit dessiner un modèle au crayon, puis le recouvrir de ruban-cache.  Utilisez du ruban étroit pour le dessin et du ruban large pour encadrer le contour de votre panneau arrière.

ÉTAPE 2:

Sélectionnez trois couleurs de peinture ou plus. Testez-les sur l'intérieur de votre Camionneur pour voir de quoi elles ont l'air une fois sèches.

ÉTAPE 3:

Il est temps de peindre l'œuvre. Veillez à alterner les couleurs. Utilisez une fine couche de peinture pour obtenir un effet de vitrail délavé.

ÉTAPE 4:

Suspendez votre blouson jusqu'à ce que la peinture soit complètement sèche. Si vous voulez accélérer le processus, vous pouvez utiliser un sèche-cheveux.

ÉTAPE 5:

Retirez le ruban-cache, puis posez le linge à repasser sur la peinture. Repassez à haute température sur le linge pour fixer le motif.

ÉTAPE 6:

Ajoutez des détails à la peinture sur le col, les poignets ou les deux, en suivant les mêmes étapes de préparation, de peinture et de séchage que vous avez utilisées pour peindre votre panneau.

ÉTAPE 7:

Essayez-le. Faites un tour. Vous êtes maintenant propriétaire d'un Camionneur personnalisé unique en son genre.
