This is exactly what I wanted: pillow-soft denim, the flattering and comfortable 511 cut, and quality construction; all without the hassle of needing to break them in myself. Not to mention, at a remarkable price, given the quality. Purists might bemoan that they aren't raw, but... sometimes you want something you can wear immediately and feel great in. I've got a raw black pair I've worn most days for the past two years and they still aren't quite as soft and comfortable as these. Small nitpicks: the lack of distinctive back pocket decorative stitching might be missed by some. (I can take it or leave it.) Also, my previously purchased Made & Crafted Japanese denim blue jeans had a distinctive "Japan" patch that I kind of like and wish was on this one. Subjective nitpicks aside, if you're a black jeans kind of guy, these are likely to be your new everyday pair.
