Levi’s® Unlabeled Collection: a new Levi’s® collection that defies definition

Levi’s®, now without the labels

Curated by our LGBTQ+ staff – for everyone

Unlabeled started as a community, an empowerment-focused collective of LGBTQ+ Levi’s® colleagues and allies. Levi’s® has long been a loyal and vocal advocate for the rights of LGBTQ+ people: whether in endorsing anti-discrimination legislation or declaring our stores Open to All, Levi’s® has a proud tradition of celebrating diversity in all its forms. Unlabeled is the latest step in this work – because people are more than the sum of their labels. Cast from an open call to Levi’s® Unlabeled members, from the shop floor to the design team, meet the people who represent the spirit of Unlabeled as they step forward to share their stories of style, embracing their authentic selves, and being so much more than the boxes you check.

This National Coming Out Day, Levi’s® introduces the Levi’s® Unlabeled Collection. Curated by a community of LGBTQ+ Levi’s® colleagues and allies, this curated collection resists conformity to celebrate individuality and self-expression. These are clothes inspired by fluidity and the freedom to live, love, and be your authentic self.

Inspired by denim as the ultimate gender-free canvas for self-expression, the Unlabeled Class of 2020 has curated a genderless collection that celebrates their individual style and creative vision, through the lens of their favourite Levi’s® pieces. From a classic 501® to a customised Trucker jacket, each piece has been carefully chosen by the Unlabeled Class of 2020 to curate a collection to inspire individuality and authentic self-expression in everyone.

“Your style should not be conditioned by your gender, but by who you are inside and what you really want to express.”

“I would love for my daughter to grow up in a world where she doesn't have to identify as a female, but she just identifies as who she is and leads with her name into any environment.”

“I don’t want people to necessarily go ‘Oh there’s a guy wearing a dress! That’s so brave!’ I just want someone to say that looks cool, and he looks comfortable wearing that.”
