Self-confessed ‘90s baby Maya donned double denim from an early age thanks to her mum’s penchant for Trucker Jackets and denim dresses; while Mahalia still treasures her very first true blues, a salvaged pair of Levi’s® jeans bought in her teens that she still wears now, a true embodiment of sustainable style that lasts: “My mum used to say, buy cheap, buy twice.”

“I’m Gen Z and Maya’s Millennial,” Mahalia says, “and I feel like we’re inspired by one another’s style. Fashion is definitely a thing that we share.” As well as their love for timeless style - Maya’s references the Spice Girls’ two-pieces and bright and bold looks, while Mahalia’s enduring style icon is Rihanna - it’s both women’s empowering, outspoken and positive influence as pop culture voices that make them so exciting.

Wearing her 501® Crop with the Royce Collar Blouse, she shares: “That’s my favourite look - heels and jeans with a nice top.”
Mahalia’s go-to style blends simple layering with a nod to the ‘90s. Pairing her 501® jeans with AW21’s Crew Rib Sweater and Long Sleeve Baby Tee, created in partnership with Better Cotton Initiative, she highlights the ease with which Levi’s® jeans can be worn by all.
