I think these pants will be perfect for my trip to Italy. Nice and thick material did not look see through. For sure run big as others have said. I got 26 and I normally wear size 28 and they fit great. Because they ran on the larger size I ordered a 29 for length and I normally wear a 33 for length and I will say I wish I would have gone up an inch or two for length. Super versatile and can easily be dressed up or down
