With a classic straight leg and iconic styling, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of modern jeans in existence—burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss (the man himself!) introduced them in 1873. To this day they’ve never gone out of style. And they never will.

- This is a special edition of our 501 jean, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Iconic "Button Your Fly" Campaign from 1990. Jean features a special "Button Your Fly" Selvedge I.D, custom waistband button shank, and inside pocket bag prints in the iconic Button Your Fly logo colors.
- Crafted from premium selvedge denim and woven on a traditional narrow-width shuttle loom—making them highly covetable. Roll up the cuff to show off the woven fabric strip.
- Made from raw, unwashed Shrink-to-Fit™ denim, which means they’ll shrink roughly two inches in the waist and two inches in the length if washed, so buy two sizes up in each. And for purists who prefer their denim unwashed, go ahead and buy these true to size.

Love these. The colour is really nice, less saturated indigo, more dark royal blue. Size up 2 inches in waist and leg to get a good shrink to fit.

Good fabric. I wore these jeans almost everyday for three weeks before washing them in the washing machine for the first time. The starchiness/stiffness was gone after the wash and the deep indigo dye faded into a more natural blue, which I love. They also shrunk quite a bit after the wash, especially in length, which actually made them fit me better. Looking forward to seeing them change over the coming years.

I love this pair very much! I have Big John RARE and A.P.C. Selvage jeans. They are quality and having their own tradition. However it’s really too hot to wear them during summer. This pair of Button Your Fly 501 Selvedge jeans although not Made in Japan Denim, but the denim oz is incredibly suitable for the season. Thin is the beauty of owning this pair and they are having 501 tradition too. I am loving it.
