Extremely happy to discover these 501 Loose Button Fly Jeans. I've felt that most jeans on the market are designed for young boy's bodies, not grown men. I am 6'3 237#, age 53, athletic, genetically wider in the waist and with a butt and thicker legs from lifting weights/squatting. I've preferred the button fly on the 501 Shrink to Fit to zippers, but once washed, the legs shrink too much, losing the original first-purchased-unwashed fit. Other looser fits have felt too box-y on my frame. These seem perfect; maintaining the classic heritage look that I want in Levi's (I love the look of the earliest Gold Rush era Levi's up through the 1950s versions), but with fuller more comfortable seat and leg cut—balancing out my naturally wider waist/hip silhouette—creating a better overall proportion to my look. I purchased the 38 waist 32 length. Length seems slightly longer than normal 32 length, not a problem for me.

The original 501s never fit right on me, these one’s on the other hand provide more space in the seat and thighs, without loosing that classic fit from the knees down. The material feels sturdy and the jeans are great quality. Compared to the other models, 568s and 578s, these are a little longer, but I like how it looks. Will definitely buy again!

Mijn zoon is heel blij met deze broek. Net iets wijder dan de 501, maar niet enorm baggy. Perfect dus! Meteen een tweede broek besteld!

I am very happy with the jeans. I ordered online but had to return them because I had chosen the wrong size (they run very big!), but returns were quick and easy to sort and I am happy with my new pair.
