Near perfect short. Fits true to size, the material feels nice and plush like a quality chino pant should (unlike last season’s version of the XX chino short). The fit is great and extremely flattering. BUT, either give us two flap pockets or none at all. The flap pocket is a fantastic design choice — I don’t know whose idea it was to only have one, but that choice was a mistake. It disrupts the silhouette of the short and makes it awkward to look at from behind. We’re adults Levi’s — if someone is so pressed by having a button in the way of their wallet on their left back pocket, they can leave it unbuttoned. Keep the leisure details to the sports wear brands and give us authenticity.
