Skirt arrived as described and fits as expected. I usually wear size 24 in the XL no stretch 100% cotton series but purchased a size 25 bc the 24 was sold out. As expected it is a little large for me but easily taken care of with a belt. I washed the skirt in hot water and dried in a warm drier and it did NOT shrink - still need the belt! The denim is medium weight and very soft, plenty of leg room without all that gathering around the waist and hips of a conventional dirndl skirt so it preserves the waist, has a nice slimming effect with long sweaters and tops without constraining walking or running. Can’t wait to dress it up this Spring and Fall with a light weight long-line sport jacket, and run around in it all Summer with colorful girly short cropped cotton and linen tops - my stylish new three-season go to alternative to pants. Perfect for travel - pack one versatile bottom and a bunch of cute tops!

I love the fit of my mermaid skirt. I’m 5”8” and 160 lbs and order a size 27. It fit just right, not to tight and not to loose. I liked the fit so much I ordered the darker one as well.

Great fitting skirt in a very flattering fit. Slimming over hips and stylishly swishing out from knees, which is great for walking! Mid standard dark rinse can be styled up or down and looks equally good with a shirt, jumpers pr a tee

i love the long/maxi denim skirts, on everyone but when i try them on the patch triangle in the front seaming them always bothered me..... then i saw this and thought ok, i'll try it, but i had visions of tight skirt walking tiny steps... but WOOOOWEEE! it's perfect.denim perfection to the max!! comfort, looks great, tailored, classy, long, lovely- one more time.... PERFECT!

I absolutely love this maxi skirt. I got it in both colors. There is no stretch to this fabric. If you have wider hips you should size up. My waist is 27 and my hips 42. I sent for it in size 31 and it fit tight on the hip and super loose on the waist. I will be wearing a belt to make sure it fits right.
