Finally real denim!

I grew up in the days before designer jeans, and really miss wearing good denim. Real denim is an investment. Like most investments, a little work is involved, so real denim needs breaking in. But once you do, they will be your best friend and last forever. Also, ladies, it holds you in way better than that stretchy stuff. These were way more expensive than I remember jeans being, kind of like analog watches, I guess, but I am satisfied that they will hold up and not sag or need special treatment the way the spandex blend stuff does. Also, frankly, they hold you in way better than those stretchy things do. No need for shapewear! These will become an old friend I can count on. Looking forward to that.

Perfect vintage high rise

Was looking for a vintage high rise mom jean. These are perfect. I’m tall and it is so hard to find jeans I can roll without becoming capris. They also have the perfect structure. Very little stretch but they are robust enough that they do not stretch out unnecessarily. Because of the lack of stretch I did size up one size and they fit perfectly.

No wonder these are always sold out - the perfect jean that I was looking for! Nice thick well made denim and a perfect color (I bought Indigo). Total classic that will look good with everything. I have a small waist and slightly larger hips so the high rise fits perfectly.

Perfect length & quality

I've been looking for the perfect pair of straight-leg jeans for a while, and these are them! The 32" length is great and stops just below my ankles. I sized up by one to a 28 to get a nice comfortable fit, and they are perfect!

I’ve worn these and they are super comfortable. I am 5’ 7” about 130 and I bought the 27/32. Perfect fit. Just loose enough to feel great but snug enough to look great! Btw... I’m 64

Across the plain do not stretch much

I usually do not write reviews however I thought I should mention that these Across the plain wash jeans do not stretch at all. I had to size up (from 29 to 30) for these to fit. I own other non-stretch 501's in size 29 and they give a little. Not these. However, they look fabulous. Just don't expect them to loosen up on you.

Very flattering fit

I bought my normal size (24) and was a bit worried it may be too tight as there is no stretch to this wash but it fits perfectly! The overall fit is slim and the high waist is very flattering. They flatten out my butt a bit which I don’t mind as I’m slim but curvy at the same time. Overall love the fit, wash, and overall classic look of these jeans.

I am definitely a Levi's fan for many years. Quality is the best in my opinion last a long time. These jeans seem to be more the original style i bought..40 years Go? They stretch with wear. Run a little small usually wear 28 but bought a higher waist so got a 30 and glad i did.

Finally the Original Straight 501 are back!!!! Perfect High Rise and 100% Cotton. I took Size 29 but will order also a 28. Please make them in more colors and no stretch. I wish we had them in Europe, they are only available in the US. I am a big LEVI‘S fan ❤️

Finally I have found them

The perfect straight leg! I feel like I always find straight leg jeans that fit too tight in the thighs or gather weird at the knees or are actually too wide. Also I am a fan off the old school dark jeans and these are perfect. I'm 5'6" and the 30 inseam is perfect, I can rool if I want the a little higher. The waist is perfect & the sizing true. I wear a lot of skinny jeans and wanted the old school straight leg. These are perfect! I love the button fly too!

I like the jeans, they run a little loose after I've worn them through the day so I could have gone with the next size smaller, but then they would be a little too tight for comfort at times. I used Levi's sizing tool to determine size 28. I wear size 27 from Madewell. If I had bought size 27 they would have probably been sexier looking less comfortable. Happy with my purchase except Levi's uses too much plastic in their shipment. I would prefer a non-plastic shipping method. Will try to purchase in store next time instead of online. Hopefully won't need to buy jeans for awhile as these should last years (I bought 2 different pairs).

Exactly What I’ve Been Looking For

I have fallen in love with French fashion, and classic non stretch 501 jeans are a MUST. These will last forever! Size up because of the no stretch. I’m usually a 27, I ordered a 28. I’m 5’11” and 140 lbs. They look amazing! Please continue making this retro edition. Would love it in a super light wash with no damage.

These are perfect! Wash is perfect, fit is perfect, and they give the perfect worn in vintage jeans look with just the right amount of bagginess so its still sexy but also cool.
I'm usually a 25 in levis and these fit true to size - look even more amazing in person

Finally....non spandex jeans...

Was so happy to finally find a pair of original denim jeans like I wore as a teenager. I am always a size 27/32 and that size in these jeans fit me perfectly. Love the light washed blue. My only "con" is that I wish these had a zip fly instead of the button fly. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

These jeans are so perfect that I basically haven't taken them off since I received them in the mail last week. I sized up as per usual with 100% cotton Levis. They were snug at first but slightly stretch out over wear. Love them. So flattering. Will be stocking up!

I wanted the jeans of my youth made out of sturdy nonstretch 100%cotton that shape me perfectly. these are! No too dark denim that will soften overtime and last forever like a best friend. I’m not crazy about the button fly but its part of the deal and tucks the lower belly better.
Beware! Runs small. I usually wear size women 28 (US 6) in the stretchy denim and I had to go up 2 sizes (30-US10) in these jeans. They fit perfectly and look amazing.

Classic, but a bit too short

Loving the classic fit and the quality, no-stretch denim, but just wish these came in a 33” or 34” inseam! I’m 5’9” and the 27/32 pair I bought are more like ankle pants on me. If a longer inseam were offered, I would buy several more pairs!

Great looking Jeans. If you like a tight fit, these were great. Not sure why these came so much tighter than the other pair of 501s I ordeed. the only difference was the organic cotton. Very little give.
