It’s been a decades since i last bought a pair of Levis jeans due to altering of consistency of their iconic product. So i began my journey to Japanese selvedge denims, like Iron Heart, Samurai jeans, PBJ, Sugarcane & “ Osaka 5” The five legendary Japanese denim brands. fast forward, it’s good that they open the window on their Levis Vintage Clothing line for denim enthusiast like me. My recent purchased is a pair of LVC 501 Raw selvedge jeans 1922 model Made in Japan 🇯🇵 a reminiscent of hard-working men of that era. Overall, i was impressed with this pair, not heavyweight denim but something to wear during summer.

Great service from end to end and a great quality product. Simple ordering process which included having to return the jeans because they were too large but even that could not have been simpler and the reorder and delivery timescales were exceptional.

I recently picked up a pair of Levi’s Vintage Clothing 501 1922 in size 34/34. I normally wear a 32, but knowing these are STF (shrink-to-fit), I sized up—and I’m glad I did. After one cold wash, they shrank exactly as expected and now fit perfectly. The denim is beautiful: thick, sturdy, and full of character. You can really feel the vintage craftsmanship in the details. They’re comfortable from the start and continue to break in nicely with each wear. If you’re into authentic heritage denim, these are hard to beat. Highly recommended.

So glad LVC decided to do thses 1922 501s again. The denim is dark and the fit is generous in the seat and thighs. The Japanese denim on these is very nice. I was always a big fan of Cone denim and this denim is also very nice indeed. Glad that Levis has kept the Levis Vintage Clothing line. Thank you Levis.

The pants are beautifoul but I make a mistake whit size,I ordered a 38W-32 but I needed a 36W-32

Great pair of jeans easy fit but comfortable. Wash well will shrink but not a lot.

These 1922 501s are real nice. They replicated every single detail from the archive, right down to the back pocket rivets.... which in 2025, those rivets are still a sure-fire way to scratch your leather couch. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
