I am slightly shocked, as this fit has finally returned after going away in the ‘90s. As someone of a certain age who was a teenager in the 1970s, this fit feels like those pants (although not flared). In those days there were no different cuts; you wore women’s jeans or men’s jeans. Women’s jeans were cut so that the waist was above the belly button. If you are long-waisted, especially, this is a great looking and very comfortable fit. If you tuck in your top, it will stay tucked when you sit down. They make you look skinnier and taller. The bit of stretch in the new fabric is a help because we are not as slim as we used to be.

I purchased these in the zipper fly style in my normal size 6 for Levi jeans. By the on line pic, I thought these would be a slimmer fit. But they were very loose through the leg, and overall, too big. But even a 4 wouldn’t have fit to my liking. I returned them.

Great fit and a flattering look in my typical size 30/30. I'm very pleased with the soft and stretchy fabric and the comfortable feel that these lighter weight jeans provide. I'll be buying more !
