Label shrink to fit not in description-not happy about that /suggest a size up /fits high on waist -nice/ slim straight leg -nice /color is like the pic.

I honestly do not understand the bad reviews on this pair. It is a lovely ecru denim pair, medium to light weight denim, with speckles found in unbleached denim. The speckles will actually diminish with washing. As for the fit, those are true to size if the buyer is familiar with raw denim. I also do not understand why folks get confused over the sizing of unwashed/raw denim. Keep this jn mind whilst buying a pair: shrinkage will happen in inseam (perhaps up to 2in), which will not be fully recovered since most stress points are on the knees (that’s where one might regain the original knee width). Ad for the rest, waist, thigh, hips, typically will shrink with wash, but once worn for a few hours, the denim will regain it’s original dimensions in those areas. I prefer buying raw denim since I know for a fact that the denim will stretch back to its original dimensions in width. This takes away a lot of the guess work for me. Bottom line this is a lovely pair. The selvedge ID is navy and wide, wish they had copper rivets on the back pockets. Is it worth the price? I’d say probably not. It would’ve been much worth it had the price been 150 or so, since high quality selvedge denim like Fullcount and the likes which is made in Japan, is available for this price. What sold it for me was the fit!

Head's up: These jeans are definitely shrink-to-fit/unsanforized. While Levi's does not state this on their website (I also emailed to ask this before ordering, and the Levi's representative, Mina T., said that they were not shrink-to-fit) the label on the back pocket of the jeans clearly indicates that these jeans shrink approximately 2" in inseam length and 1-2" in the waist. I had to send the first pair I ordered back in order to get the correct size (accounting for shrinkage). I usually wear a 30W x 32L in 501's, and I sized up to a 32W x 34L in these. After 1 hour hot soak and hang dry, they shrunk approximately 1.75" in length and 1" in the waist. They fit very well, with just enough length for a small cuff to show the selvedge tag. The quality on these jeans is excellent, with details like the cotton strike-through copper rivets and coin pocket hidden selvedge tag illustrating Levi's attention to detail. I would highly recommend these jeans with the caveat that the buyer should be fully aware that they are raw denim and will shrink after the first wash.

These are very stiff and rough feeling. Not the premium soft denim I am used to getting in the selvedge lineup. Never had the wash and shrink kind maybe it loosens up after a wash and is softer?? These can almost stand by themselves! May consider a return for a different pair it’s hard to get over how rough 🤦‍♂️

Super stiff. They can almost stand on there own. Not sure if this is a characteristic of it not being washed yet. Will have to return as I didnt account for the shrink that will happen on the first wash…. Needs a better description. Between the lack of description and the fabric being stiff and rough it gets 3 stars. Quality should be better on these for the price catagory.

Washed once and the blue dyed leather label bled all over the legs and left stains that I couldn’t remove after trying everything.

Bought these jeans and washed in cold, no dryer. The seat, legs, and length are fine, however the waist shrunk down 2 sizes!!! They’re trash. Super disappointing!
