Best trucker jacket ever, vintage style like my grandpa at the ranch.

This is a masterpiece of a jacket. It's absolutely warm and comfortable, but the fit takes some getting used to! I got a XXL because I've a non-winter version type 3 jacket and that was XXL. The type 1, however, is much more boxy especially on the front and the sides. So you need to size down-- if you want a more tighter fit. I always feel that extra bit of room whenever I wear it, surprisingly though, almost everyone else thinks it fits perfectly on me. In time, I began to get used to the roomy fit and enjoy it now. The cinch-back adjuster is pretty cool-- at full contraction, I still have room for a sweatshirt. So I realised that the type 1 sherpa is a true winter jacket giving you the option to layer, possesses unique features like the double pleated fronts enhancing mobility in the chest area. I personally wouldn't dress down since I hadn't sized down during purhcase. But that's just me ! Several have remarked it fits great on me. This is a great piece that grows on you. I would've preferred to have a zipper at the front in addition to the buttons-- or just regular buttons-- as that would have made it more elegant and vintage. The buttons snap adequately though. With this you're pretty much covered for temperatures upto -10 degC, and can have your night-outs with the sure knowedge you can handle the biting cold. I got this for being the first of its kind and it is one of a kind!

Should have been button up instead of snap buttons. Could have retro better with button up.
