Nel 1901 debuttano le targhe delle auto, nasce un famoso trombettista, un uomo attraversa l’Atlantico dentro una scatola e ai jeans 501® viene aggiunta la quinta tasca. Molti pensano si tratti di una tasca portamonete, ma non è così: la quinta tasca è la tasca posteriore sinistra, la metà dell’ormai iconica parte posteriore di Levi's®. “Jeans”, come li conosciamo oggi. Un anno dopo, Levi Strauss muore all’età di 73 anni in California (solo cinque anni prima del grande terremoto che devastò San Francisco, sua città adottiva). Senza questo ultimo atto creativo, i jeans 501® potrebbero non essere mai esistiti.

First pair of limited LVC

I have been wearing Levi’s LVC jeans for a decade or so now and recently fell in love with cinch back jeans. I wear the 1933 501 and the 1937 pairs, religiously, and figured I needed to own these 1901 pair.
Fit- I purchased my size of 30 waist and found that it was a bit snug/true to size compared to a size 30 with the 1933’s. I worry that shrinkage may make them a tad too snug.
Denim- a very rigid, not too thick, but certainly not too thin. Very nice.
Overall, a beautiful pair of pants. I guess they are sold out now, but I guess my advice would be to size up if you plan to wash.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy:) Shrink 1 size more waist and 2-3 size length than rigid normaly. Bought this item 1901 size 32x34, use normal rigid 31x32 and rinse 30x30.
