Note: the review is for customer service mostly, the item is fine. I purchased this item at full price on Black Friday (late Nov 28). About a week later, after the Black Friday sale period, the same item was marked down with my size still available. I figured this is a very unexpected priece change, so I contacted customer service to request a price adjustment. Customer service repeatedly denied the request, stating that I was not eligible because the purchase was made “during a sale event.” The response is frustrating and confusing, according to Levi’s own policy states: > “Exclusions: Items purchased before major promotional events (e.g., Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Warehouse Sale) do not qualify for price adjustments.” Nowhere does the policy state that a full-price purchase made during a sale event is excluded. Then to make it even funnier, customer service later attempted to deny that the item had been marked down, even after I provided screenshots. To be clear, the ~$40 mean nothing for me. What’s disappointing is the inconsistency between the written policy and how it’s enforced, and the unwillingness to acknowledge clear evidence. Levi’s, if you do not intend to offer price adjustments under reasonable circumstances, please just simply update or take down the price match policy from your website, save your customers some time, thank you.
