I much prefer the style of the Type 1 and 2 jackets to the Type 3, was stoked to find it on sale in this nice dark rinse and I guess intrigued to buy my first piece of selvedge denim. I copped and almost kept a relaxed fit type 3 and I felt that was a true relaxed fit, I could have gotten away with wearing a medium in that. This did not seem oversized at all, it seemed to fit like the regular style type 3 I had tried on, which was a pleasant surprise. It looks trim but still had enough room that I could throw a sweater on under it.

Perfect weight. Pretty roomy. I normally wear a large but medium in this jacket. Great look.

I bought this jacket in a size M to be oversized, and it's perfect! It's so comfortable and good, thick material.

This jacket does run a bit bigger than other trucker jackets but man this is a great purchase for the price point. I ordered the selvedge version and the details are amazing. The denim is pretty neppy and has selvedge ID lines on the buckle closure in the back as well as an ID line on both flaps of the inside closure. Compared to a normal premium trucker jacket, this item seems to fit about a size larger. It is not raw denim so I do not expect much shrinkage so I would suggest sizing down if you want a slimmer and more snug fit. They do advertise this as a relaxed fit, so I wasn't surprised with the larger fit. I would recommend ordering your normal size if you want to wear this as a layer over a hoody.

Great Vintage inspired Type 1 jacket. It comes with two inner pockets and two on the side of the jacket. These additional pockets are not on the original Type 1 Levi’s jackets, but add a lot of more functionality to the type 1. This jacket does not have Selvedge detailing (in case you’re wondering). I wish Levi’s would make a type 1 WITH selvedge, just because I think it would add a lot of that classic charm. Overall, it’s very good quality and I highly recommend this piece to your Levi’s collection. Fits great, and looks great with a lot of different pants. I got the black colour.
