DEAD PASSEN NET ZO GOED BIJ ELKAAR ALS JOUW FAVORIETE INGEDRAGEN JEANS BIJ JOU PAST. Al generaties lang dragen Dead Heads, de legendarische fanbase van de band, Levi's® als canvas voor zelfexpressie. Ons merk is onlosmakelijk verbonden aan deze jeugdige en rebelse tegencultuurbeweging. Dead Heads hadden een geheel eigen kijk op stijl. En dat bleek wel uit de namaak-merchandise die verkocht werd uit de achterbak van auto’s, busjes en trucks op de parkeerplaats vlak voor een concert. Volgens Bob Weir, de legendarische gitarist en een van de oprichters van de band, heeft de Dead-cultuur zijn eigen creatieve stempel gedrukt op Levi's® denim. Jeans en truckerjacks zijn altijd een canvas geweest voor iconische Dead-graphics en voor fans om hun eigen creatieve eerbetoon te brengen aan hun favoriete band. In de woorden van Weir: “We hebben al vroeg een band ontwikkeld met dingen die lang blijven. Een artikel van Levi's® is niet iets dat je maar één keer draagt. De verhalen die je wilt vertellen, bouw je op uit dingen waarvan je weet dat ze er jaren later nog zullen zijn.”  ## Levi’s® x Grateful Dead The Grateful Dead heeft ons ontwerpteam geïnspireerd voor de collectie Levi's® x Grateful Dead. Deze kledinglijn verenigt twee iconen uit de Bay Area. Met deze samenwerking brengen we een ode aan de muziek, het gemeenschapsgevoel en de creativiteit van de Dead, die tot op de dag van vandaag nog mensen weten te inspireren. Deze collectie gaat terug in de tijd met iconische kledingstukken van Levi's® en de psychedelische kunstzinnige prints van de jaren 60. Die creatieve samensmelting staat centraal in deze collectie.
