Great cut and beautifully soft denim! Would buy a second darker pair if they were still available! A real no-brainer option for Japanese selvedge denim.

best jeans ever

Absolutely worth it. I ordered last W31xL32. I am so lucky :)
Before ordering, I tried on the regular 501 Original Fit in-store and ended up buying the Blue Tab 1980s 501 in the exact same size. The fit is absolutely perfect.
The silhouette is beautiful and gorgeous and the fabric quality immediately stands out. It feels premium, comfortable, and keeps making me want to wear them. Out of every pair of jeans I’ve owned, these are by far my favorite.
I almost didn’t buy them because I read that this fit doesn’t suit most Asian body types. However, if you’re on the taller side, the cut creates a longer-leg look and fits incredibly well. It definitely does for me.
The denim has enough substance to feel premium, but it isn’t so heavy that it’s uncomfortable in the summer. It’s the perfect balance between durability and comfort.
To me, this is the line that truly represents what a classic pair of Levis jeans should be.

Premium jeans

I noticed on the site at the time of buying it showed that customers stated these ran big (I normally wear a 32/33 and purchased 33 which fit perfect without a belt). I would say these are true to size if they do run big it might be by a very small amount. Downside is I normally wear a 30 length but shortest they have is 32 so they are too long for my liking (I’m 5’ 11”) and I need to get them tailored to shorten them. The quality of them though is very nice, they are a heavier denim and the stitchings are all great. Pocket openings do feel a bit “tight” but you can still easily fit your phone or wallet in, not a fan of the button fly though. Overall they are some solid jeans if you’re looking for something more “unique/premium”.

1980s look and feel great. The straight leg is perfect width and the Japanese denim has the perfect texture and weight.so comfortable. Run large and purchased one size smaller for the perfect fit.

Really pleased with these 1980s 501® Jeans. The denim feels sturdy and high quality, with that authentic vintage Levi’s look and fit. They sit comfortably and work well with both trainers and boots — definitely a timeless pair that I can see lasting for years.

Hose „aus“ 1980 mit holpriger Lieferung

Tolle Hose und ich würde auch sagen, sie hat einen anderen Schnitt. Ich glaube der obere Teil (Schaft) geht höher.
Aber ich bin kein Profi und habe keine Lust normal gegen 1980 zu vergleichen.
Ich habe eh nur aufgrund der Jahreszahl gekauft!
Ohne den persönlichen Bezug zur 1980 wäre mir der Aufpreis für den vielleicht anderen Stoff das Geld nicht Wert. Aber ich bin weder Profi noch tief in der Mode verwurzelt.
Was aber den Eindruck getrübt hat war eine erste Falschlieferung. Mir wurde ein falsche Größe gesendet!
Der Umtausch erfolgte einigermaßen schnell, insgesamt aber zu meinem Schaden. Mein Geld war sofort eingezogen die Ware musste jedoch erst noch ausgetauscht werden und ich hatte unnötige Wege und zeitliche Aufwendungen und damit unbezahlte Arbeit.
Ein Rabatt durch Levi’s , der Fehler ist durch sie entstanden, wurde NICHT angeboten.
Ach noch ein Punkt, die Hose fällt nur gering größer aus.

Perfect for dress down Fridays and weekend

These jeans are extremely comfortable with a soft denim and good fit. Most importantly, they are not 'shrink to fit' which is too variable to size. The color is just right for informal workdays with a turned-up cuff. They are true to size. I just wish that a shorter length was offered.

The blueprint for denim for a reason.

Where do I start? Sure, they’re not the heaviest jeans you’ll own. They’re not from a renowned Japanese brand. That is okay, because these are the blueprint. The fit is unlike any other pair of MIJ denim I’ve ever purchased, the color isn’t quite raw, but it’s a beautiful dark indigo. The contrast stitching, the leather patch, the button fly. There are so many small details about these Jeans that just set it apart. They’re so versatile as well. I intentionally got a few extra inches longer on the inseam, for extra stacking and cuffing options.
