Great jeans, with a good amount of stretch. Bit expensive, but I really like the high waist

I found this jean to be the most comfortalbe for a slimmer look without being skinny. It's the perfect combination of fitted in the abdomen and thighs while being straight leg. I love 501s for a looser fit overall but have these for a slimmer look. I DID have to return my usual size 26, as I could BARELY zip it up and it felt VERY tight across the abdomen and thighs. I ordered size 27 (I usually wear 26, so take note some of you) and it fit just like the 26 in 501. I held them up, in fact, and the waist looked exactly the same on the 27 724 as it is on the 26 in the 501.

I am slightly shocked, as this fit has finally returned after going away in the ‘90s. As someone of a certain age who was a teenager in the 1970s, this fit feels like those pants (although not flared). In those days there were no different cuts; you wore women’s jeans or men’s jeans. Women’s jeans were cut so that the waist was above the belly button. If you are long-waisted, especially, this is a great looking and very comfortable fit. If you tuck in your top, it will stay tucked when you sit down. They make you look skinnier and taller. The bit of stretch in the new fabric is a help because we are not as slim as we used to be.

Très beau jean, belle taille haute. Un bon classique à mettre tous les jours, ou même un peu plus habillé. Je recommande.
