About this Style

On May 20th, 1873, Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis secured a patent (No. 139,121) for “an Improvement in Fastening Pocket Openings.” The West Coast at that time was a loose patchwork of farms, ranches, railroads and gold mines. Jacob Davis—a tailor from Reno, Nevada—had the idea of placing rivets on work pants at points of strain, and joined forces with his denim supplier Levi Strauss in San Francisco. The riveted blue jean was born. Soon, Levi’s® became the clothing of choice for the rugged, hodgepodge band of workers, outcasts, entrepreneurs and outlaws building America’s future. This season we pay tribute to their innovation and collaboration.

This Bay Meadows Crew Sweatshirt is an exact replica of one of our 1940s archival garments. Subtle detailing makes it stand out, like the curved seams of its raglan sleeves, the V-shaped inserts at both the front and the back, and its extra-long ribbed sleeve cuffs.

This sweatshirt is good quility one. It fits nicely and color is beautiful it’s great for everyday wear or some parties too. The texture is also good. It’s 100% cotton. Definitely good product and worth asking price. Recommend!!!!

The fabric of this sweatshirt is ultra soft. Worth the extra price because if the quality of fabric and extra details. I wear a large and it fits great. I also bought an XL for those days I just want to lounge in a baggy sweatshirt. Love it!

This fabric if amazing. It is priced high but worth the price to me. Highly recommend. I ordered a large and medium just to see how this item fit. I usually wear a Large and the Large it well. Honestly I am keeping the XL too just to lounge around the house in; the XL reminds me of how we wore sweatshirts in the 90’s. So I might wear the larger one with my baggy pants and be totally 90’s. But with all that said this fabric is butter soft!

I’ve been wearing these LVC Bay Sweatshirts for at least ten years, and the quality is spot on. The fabric drapes great, the fit, cut and design is all brilliant… well worth the money. This is the forth one I’ve bought over the years (in a super Beech green color), and in fact I still wear the first one I bought!

This is a really nice sweatshirt. It’s thick but still lightweight enough that it could be worn in the winter, fall or even chillier summer nights. It’s breathable while still warm. It’s honestly the perfect balance. Also, this color is really nice. It’s subtle but still eye catching! I do recommend sizing up! Great gift for husbands and dads who need something a little nicer than can be dressed up or dressed down!

Baic shirt, nice quality and fit is to size. I think the price is a little high. It's not a bad shirt. It's just a very basic shirt. It's good but not great.
