Great look before washing

I absolutely love these short. They fit true to size and are gorgeous. However, the first time I washed them the black tag on the back bled into the denim around the tag and ruined other items in the wash with them. I followed the laundry instructions, so I don’t understand how this could have happened. Very disappointed in this quality flaw.
