I bought this with field camp (a required undergrad geology field course) in mind. I like the design, especially the many large pockets. I think this coat is excellent for wearing in a dry, slightly cool weather for any outdoor work really. I also wear it on hikes, and even casually sometimes when hanging out with friends or for walking to classes when it's not snowing or raining during winter. Great for wearing with multiple layers underneath- has a loose fit. Looks good as well.

The cotton on the jacket feels very durable and is well made high in quality. I would suggest sizing down and it runs large.

I very much like this jacket style, except I'd prefer the length of wrist cuffs should be snap button and the zipper should be inside to be able to zipper up easy on , it's challenging to the hands to work the zipper. The hoodie should feel less bulky feeling. The material is great and I like the pockets and jackets lining. I would like it to have armpit vents.

I’m a little disappointed by this coat. First, it’s very big. I’m a bigger guy and I bought the size I always do for this coat and it still feels a size or two too big. Also, I ordered the black color expecting it to be black. The photos on the site made it look black. However, the jacket I received, looks more grey.
