As always the 511 fits and looks very trim without the 'skinny' look. Sometimes sitting can feel a smidge tight but all the better to remind me to keep to low-fat foods....

Rich clay color is rich brown

These have the standard 511 fit, which is snug to the leg and thigh. Looks good on a slender person. Below the waist fit means my larger-than-necessary gut is an issue, but a belt and pulling them up after sitting or stairs is an option. Nice change of pace from my usual gray, washed black or black jeans.

My husband has been wearing 511s for years. Dark blue and "new khaki" have been his go-tos, and he's been wanting to buy the brown (clay) pair for a while but they're always out of stock in his size. They're finally back in stock (and on sale!) so we bought them. They were great for a few days before washing. I washed on cold with free and clear detergent and tumble dried low. Now instead of a rich, solid, dark brown they're a striped mess. The color faded unevenly all over! I don't think they can be saved. SUPER disappointed in this purchase.
