[__Sustainability__](https://www.levi.com/DK/da_DK/blog/category/sustainability) /  april 2023 Share  Vores F&U-laboratorium er tilbage med endnu en sæson med seje pasformer og nye innovationer, som du kan føle dig godt tilpas med. Med vores betænksomme indkøbsmetoder og initiativer for bedre velvære på arbejdspladsen til vores engagement i bedre cirkularitet og genbrug udvikler vi konstant nye måder at forbedre vores tøj på – og det hele sker i vores [Levi's® Wellthread®](https://www.levi.com/DK/da_DK/levi_collections_wellthread) forsknings- og udviklingslaboratorium (også kendt som drømmelaboratoriet). ### OVERGANGSBOMULD Da bomuld er grundlaget for næsten alle vores produkter, er det afgørende, at vi udforsker bedre måder at engagere de lokalsamfund, der dyrker denne afgrøde, og vælge de opdyrkningsmetoder, der er de bedste for mennesker og planeten. Denne sæson fokuserer vi på overgangsbomuld for at støtte skaleringen af ansvarligt dyrket økologisk bomuld. Overgangsbomuld er bomuld på vej til at blive økologisk – en proces der tager omkring tre år. Ansvarligt dyrket økologisk bomuld anvender typisk mindre vand end konventionel bomuld og reducerer de negative miljøpåvirkninger af syntetiske gødningsstoffer, pesticider og genetisk modificerede frø.  ## Vi mener, det er vigtigt at støtte denne produktion i dens overgangsfase for på sigt at øge adgangen til økologisk bomuld i hele industrien. – Una Murphy, designdirektør, Global Innovation ### TRÆAFFALDSPIGMENT Hele vores kollektion er også lavet med plantebaserede farvestoffer, der reducerer vores afhængighed af fossile brændstoffer. Denne sæson introducerer vi et innovativt sort pigmentfarvestof fremstillet af træaffald – en direkte erstatning for petroleumsbaseret blæk. Processen omdanner træaffald og forvandler det til kraftige, højtydende pigmenter, der bruges til tryk.  ## GENANVENDELIGHED OG CIRKULARITET Vi har brugt de sidste par år på at udforske cirkulært design og genkalibrere vores WellThread®-tøj til at blive genbrugt og transformeret til at blive genanvendt gennem lukkede kredsløb. Hver eneste komponent i et WellThread® beklædningsstykkes anatomi – fra stoffet til det ikoniske Levi's® Two Horse-mærke til lynlåsen – kan genanvendes. Ved at designe til genanvendelighed med mono-materialestile holder vi beklædningsstykkerne væk fra lossepladsen og giver dem et andet, måske endda tredje liv. På den måde kan de blive omdannet til noget helt nyt, når den dag kommer, hvor de ikke længere kan bæres. \*Kun genanvendelig i samfund, der har passende genbrugsfaciliteter.   ## "Vores ultimative mål er at lære, hvad der er muligt, og at reducere vores produkts indvirkning. For det første spørger vores deltagende leverandører fabriksmedarbejdere for at høre direkte fra dem, hvad der vil hjælpe dem til at føle sig mere engagerede, produktive og sunde.
