I ordered this pair shortly after ordering the 1947 style and they are both great pairs. I would suggest going one size up on the waist for a closer “true to fit” size.

Great Fit and Comfortable

For reference, I'm 5'7", 135lbs. My favorite pair of Levi's are the LVC 1967 505s, in which I wear a size 28. I picked up a size 29 in these 1954 501s, and they fit great - a nice mid rise, comfortable waist, and slim-but-not-skinny leg (7.25" leg opening). They're nice and soft thanks to the stone washing. I though the twisted leg might just be in the photo here, but it seems to be a design decision in this particular jean - I would've preferred if the selvedge was on the side rather than towards the front. There were also a couple loose threads on my pair. Other than that, no complaints. These might be my new favorite pair of jeans.

Bonito lavado vintage!

Compré éste vaquero hace unos días 501 Z XX 1954. El lavado es muy bonito realmente muy vintage!!!! y estoy encantado !!!! me encanta Levi´s Vintage Clothing.
Lo único es que realmente necesitas 1-2 tallas más de cintura, según que modelo. En éste necesité una más, sin ser rígido.
Sí que le pediría a Levís como coleccionista, ya que son vaqueros réplica vintage que no sólo nos ponemos si no que coleccionamos, que en el lavado tenga cuidado con la etiqueta roja y el parche de cuero ( en los modelos que lo lleven) es una parte simbólica.
En éste modelo por ejemplo está totalmente borrado todo en su parche de cuero. Entiendo que en algunos modelos darle un aspecto ligero de desgaste es bonito, pero no estar absolutamente borrado.
Por lo demás un 10 , seguiré comprando! me encantan!

Jeans looked great and I got them for a great deal with discounts, however I'm normally a size 30 in waist and decided to size up to 31 with these jeans just in case they would be too tight, and STILL I couldn't even button the waist because these were so tight. Which sucks because every other size is sold out. The quality seems good but you have to size up like 3 more sizes which is ridiculous. So if you have slim legs, these might work for you.
