The buckle is too small for the leather band

I have been wearing this belt for 2 hours and it's already damaged. The leather strap is too wide for the belt buckle so every time I have to undo or redo my belt it damages the leather and is incredibly difficult to do up. I have had this item for one day and already the leather is damaged and looks bad.

Looks great, fell apart

Grabbed as a gift for my wife, looks great. In effect two belts back to back…a few days in the two have come apart…poor glue?
