My fav black shorts

I love the thickness of the fabric. 501s are non stretchy so you must go up a size. Too big in the waist but I made them work. They are classic denim shorts. I love the look

Not for those with large hip to small waist ratio

So they’re very flattering. They are built really well and look amazing on. However, I have a very drastic hip to waist ratio and these are tiny. I ordered my original size and they wouldn’t even button due to my hips. Next size up, they button but they’re tight, even for 501 denim. But now, the waist is too big and it’s creating a gapping. Next size up is more comfortable on my hips but the waist is too large. If you have smaller hips you could probably wear your normal size. Not sure if it’s worth keeping and just buying shorts elsewhere that are built with this issue in mind.
