About this Style
We took our Summer of Love-era 505® Jeans from 1967 and recreated them for the new millennium. Unlike the 501® Original Fit Jeans, these slim-fitting jeans boast a zipper fly, pre-shrunk denim and a lower rise. We've even constructed it with a Talon zipper—our original zipper, manufactured since 1893.
- A faithful reproduction of the iconic, slim-fitting jean of the 1960s
- We worked with a Japanese artisan mill in order to meticulously recreate 1960s Levi's® pre-shrunk selvedge denim
- Copper shank buttons and rivets
- Big “E” double-sided Red Tab™
- Back pockets feature twin needle arcuate and bartack stitches
- Better clothes. Better choices. Better planet. We made this garment with organically grown cotton, which uses no synthetic pesticides and saves water
- Sits At Your Waist
- 100% organic cotton
- Denim
- Zip fly
- 5-pocket styling
- Made In Japan

The fabric is great and they seem well made. Need to put more information on your website about shrinkage as it only says 5% which is probably accurate for the inseam but I doubt it for the waste. Instead use inches for shrinkage in the waist and the inseam

Great jeans no stretch. They really do shrink to fit.

One Jean to rule them all.

These are the one, the super classic. Worth the time to break in and then wear forever. Highest quality denim and the experience all other jeans have tried to emulate.

The best in LVC

Excellent jeans!
In my opinion the best model in the whole LVC collection. The fit is slim but comfortable.
The fabric is sanforized, stiff at the beginning but then it becomes softer. I bought then narrow - no problem, they streched to fit.

Fantastic fit and feel with the original cut for the 505. These traditionally run a bit slimmer than the 501, and there’s a bit of a taper, without being extremely obvious. They’ll look good and right on a more muscular build, while also flattering a slimmer frame. The rise/waist sits more at your true waist. Super classic look and feel. Just remember with the vintage Levi’s to get your real waist measurements, as these aren’t vanity sized, and are honestly what they are advertised at. Happy to recommend this style and fit.

Great look, quality and fit.

Very good quality Japanese selvedge and nice fit. Normally a 33 waist but was tight in that size . Tried on 2 pairs of 34 and went for the slightly bigger pair. Price crazy. Must be inflation and strong dollar. Regular price $295 but got 30% discount at Levis SoHo NYC so paid just over $200. Looked online and Stuarts London have them in summer sale for only 119 GBP which is only about $150. Happy with purchase as they will last many years.
