I’ve had many jeans over the years and forgot what made me feel like I did back in the 70s. The fit and finish were close to the Levi’s I used to wear in the 70’s. Of course back then Selvedge was the norm, and now less common so it takes me further back. Button fly, non-stretch and the only piece of clothing that make them yours is to break in your own jeans. No it doesn’t make you younger, but that touch of nostalgia makes me feel it. Even bought a 505 non selvedge non-stretch to compete the collection. Yes I had a pair of Jordache back in the day, but nothing brings you back the feeling like Levi’s.

Love this model and the Selvedge feels really good.

Cutting is super nice and fabric is perfect for every occasions

I'm very impressed by this lighter wash and the raw denim version. The raw versions were a true shrink to fit and were much larger in the same size, but the light wash comes pre-shrunk. Or maybe that's just my assumption since I haven't washed the light pair yet but they definitely are smaller. I'm 6'2 185lb and normally wear 34/34 in other brands. For these the 34x34 were a bit fitted (for some it would be a perfect fit) but the 35x34 still fit well but with a looser more comfy fit. I would have picked the 34 waist 5-10yrs ago when slimmer was in, but these days it's 35 all the way for both pairs. Both jeans are a lighter denim weight which I like alot. I have many pricey Japanese denim jeans and yes, the denim is of higher quality (and weight) than these (and I honestly don't care) but for the price (on sale) and the great fit (love the higher waist, straight leg and comfy thigh) these are amazing.

I can only presume negative reviews are due to people NOT reading about tye fabric or stretch? Fit is as per description. Fabric as well. Excellent

The only initial disappointment for these "Selvedge"(had never heard of them before) is the special extra reinforcement, I understood it to be at the end not in the length. Having been wearing 501's for at least 40 years, where they fall apart primarily is in the crotch and at the bottom of the legs (more understandably). Fortunately, I work just 3 days a week, pretty much office work, but standing all day long (Standup work center), no sitting. (So I where them 150 times a year.) After they wear out (5 years), I cut them off for backyard garden shorts. Any recommendations? Thank you for making such great jeans!

I've worn Levis all my life. This is my first pair of selvedge jeans. They look great and feel great. I've only worn them a few times so far. I'm curious to see whether they'll last and wear better than regular Levis.

Jeans seem to be well made. The sizing is pretty accurate, but the color is not as vibrant as I had hoped for. I will still hopefully get a lot of wear from them, and see how comfortable the hemp feels as they break in. The price was too good to pass up !
