Possible wedgies

I'm 5'2" 115 lbs and got size 26, which is what I typically wear with Levi's. These fit a bit strange on me. The shorts feel like they should be worn as high rise because it feels great sitting closer to the smallest section of the waist. It naturally rides up like this. However, it kinda gives a wedgie and it's not exactly comfortable. Wedgie gets a bit worse when sitting down, and the shorts pouches at the front do not quite flattering. Not sure if it's just my body type. But other than that, the length and cut looks great on my petite frame when standing up.

Bizarre and misleading sizing

I ordered 3 pairs of these. The very first was a black pair in size 30. It did not give the desired look the model has. They fit, but were snug and looked like shorts from the childrens section. 2nd time I ordered, I ordered 2 pairs. One in black and one in blue. Both were size 32. The blue pair were baggy and much darker than what's shown in the picture, but somewhat gave a desired silhouette. The black pair were still fitted looking.
