Have always loved 501's! The men's 501's have always fit me much better (I'm a girl). The shrink-to-fit used to be ordered as your actual size and Levi Co. built in the shrinkage. Now, you have to order 2 sizes bigger to get the same thing. Who wants to have a beautiful label on the back that is announcing 2 sizes bigger than what they actually shrink to? Again, I'm a girl, so.... I ordered my normal size as I usually do, without realizing the change, and now I can't wash them or they won't fit. In the end, I'm still getting the great fit, in my size, but can't afford the shrinkage when I wash. I give the product a 5, but are you changing that so you can save on material at the expense of a girls pride?

My first pair of Levi’s were shrink to fit back in the 70’s when I was a teen. I’ve had at least a pair of 501’s ever since. I’m much happier with the button fly than a zipper. Everyone should own at least one pair of 501s. Your wardrobe isn’t complete without this essential element.
