Pretty interesting pair - raw, selvedge, STF, nep

These are nice. Perfect amount of nep. They are raw STF. I have not soaked or washed yet. I would say the waist fits tru to size, but the inseam seems long for what it is. I have not broken out the measuring tape yet. Already seeing the start of some nice honeycombing and whiskers.

Stiff and neppy, but in a good way.

Excellent texture, perfect nep, breathable and comfortable. Only downside is that the hemp makes them just a hair stiffer than pure cotton denim. It’s not a problem for me personally, but worth mentioning in case some of you are texture sensitive. Overall they’re comfortable and breaking in nicely at about two weeks of wear right now. I can confidently recommend them.

I've become a fan of selvedge denim jeans and picked these up on sale. I purchased my usual waist size but added 2 inches to the inseam due to a planned cuff. My washing regimen is gentle cycle, Woolite, inside out, cold water, lowest spin then take out, press out any wrinkles and hang dry overnight. DO NO put in the dryer or else the jeans will shrink. If you are gong to use the dryer, then order up to the next waist size. There are some private selvedge jean makers in CA that make boutique type raw denim fabrics for similar list price, but those jeans are higher maintenance for laundry care. This pair at 50% off was a great deal. I actually when back and picked up a black pair too!
