There are a lot of negative reviews of this shirt from 3+ years ago...most relate to the shirt being sized too small. From what I can tell, they’ve redesigned the shirt to improve fit. I’m 6’2” 210 lbs, athletic build/broad chest and typically wear a 17” x 36/37” dress shirt - the Barstow in XL fits very well...tailored but certainly not tight. High quality construction.

Yes, I was seeking a great demin shirt..not sure why it took me so long to finally simply go to Levi's and trust what I'd get. I am totally satisfied....100%

Bought the "Red Caste Rinse" , which is "Levi speak" for dark wash. I ordered a small, as I am 5'9" 135-140 Lbs (I wear small in all clothing). With that out of the way. This shirt is awesome. The dark color is what I wanted and as advertised. I am not sure why all the other reviews state the shirt runs small. I would call the fit "tailored" but not "slim". The small fit me like a glove, as I like my clothes tapered/snug but not slim/tight. So, I would call the this shirt true to size. The quality is excellent as well and I know this garment will last years. I have been sporting (and plan to continue to) this shirt 2X per week and I receive lots of compliments.

At first I was apprehensive reading the reviews that warned of how shall the Levi’s Barstow Western shirt ran. But I liked the look, its functionality and a durable Cone Denim construction so I ordered it in XXL. When my shirt arrived It fit like a glove as a true XL, hugging my shoulders nicely and giving me enough room for my biceps. I really like the fit, go one size up and you will love it. It has excellent stitching and tight snap buttons.
