They were crafted in Japan by expert artisans from premium Japanese selvedge denim that’s woven on a traditional shuttle loom, which gives these jeans a tighter weave for extra durability and creates the crisp, finished edge that sets them apart from the rest.

Awesome quality

I own many pairs of selvedge jeans made various high end companies. These Levi’s fit great and the construction is great. Not a single loose thread hanging anywhere. The fabric is flawless, with no imperfections. I really like the cut on these. It’s a little slimmer than I normally get, but looks a lot more cleaned up when wearing. Love the fact that the selvedge is made in Japan on authentic looms. The leather patch and inside Japanese label are a nice touch. Keep in mind that selvedge shrinks significantly after first soak, so size up accordingly. There’s plenty of info online for this. Once broken in, these will hold up forever and get even better looking as they age.

The look, feel, and fit are top tier for jeans. They are slightly unforgiving as the stretch factor is small to zero. Overall the blue tabs are the best jeans I own and will continue to buy them.

If you can imagine the most perfect version of the jeans that were popular in the 80's and early 90's -- every line is laid and sewn perfectly, using the most perfect materials, and feel like they will last forever the more you wear them-- this is them.

True to size in regards to the waist line. The length is a little bit longer but I hope they will shorten up after the first wash.Otherwise good quality of denim and everything else.
