I picked these to give baggy a try. Baggy is comfortable. I'm not sure what makes these skateboarding pants, but that's not important. The baggy fit is comfortable. Minor negative is that they're heavy, but they will probably last a long time. Another minor negative for me was the side straps, which I removed since I prefer wearing with a belt and that works much better without anything extra under the belt.

-36x32 measurements flat: -Waist 19 inches -Front rise 16 inches -Inseam 28.5 inches The construction on these is excellent. Some elasticity is great especially for being active—I find I don’t get crotch blowouts quite as often with synthetic blends. Fit is great if you size down. I bought both a 36 and 38. I’m usually a 38 for low waisted pants and a 36 fits me decently well slung low—it’s not tight at all. Worn higher I would probably want to go with a 34. The super high rise and details like pockets and knees with pin tucks and very wide fit look like a tame version of certain baggy parachute/work pants that are made in Japan. I bought these on sale, but I would also find these worth full price—they punch way above their weight class.
