I’ve just received this short (size27) and I loved it but the problem is; it fits my butt area but the waist is really loose

I bought these a few weeks ago in a size 24. The sizing in Levi’s always fits a little weird but these jean shorts actually fit pretty perfect. I’m usually a 0 in jean shorts and I’m about 5’3 and these fit great. I recommend buying multiple sizes then picking out which one fits the best.

These shorts were at least 3 sizes too small! The sizing is completely wrong for jean shorts

I am a true 29-30 w hourglass shape, but I sized up to a 31 since I know Levi's can be notoriously small. These, however, are INSANELY small....the 31 didn't even go over my hips, which is saying a lot since I own plenty of rigid, non-stretch denim in 1-2 sizes smaller that fit just fine. I really wish these were true to size since I love the cut and traditional rigid denim feel. If you're quite small or have a straight frame, I could probably see these would working for you. I opted with the Wedgie fit jeans, and they fit like a dream in the same size (31).

I ended up having to return these. I bought 2 sizes up just to be safe and because i wanted a looser fit....so tight I could barely pull them up my hips.
