I purchased a pair of levis 505 and am very happy They fit perfect. I wear levis 505 only, good with a pair of boots! I like the rigid feel.

5 star they always fit like they should and last forever

Stiffer than I expected; nothing a little fabric softener and a couple washing didn’t fix. Dark blue is dark blue! I still miss the two belt loops that were removed from the back years ago… Still the best jeans on the market!

I'm not a fan of pre/faux distressed jeans so I purchased a pair of Rigid 505's in my regular size + length. They were deep indigo in color with that almost shiny appearance of "raw" denim - and similarly stiff. Seemed darker than the 501STF are when new. They were big when I put them on. Wore them 5 or six times before washing (cold, inside out) and drying (in the dryer, low setting, with other dark jeans+pants). They came out fitting almost perfectly! Still may be slightly large in the waist and thighs, but I'm betting the next wash will bring 'em down. They also softened up considerably. Denim weight is substantial without being too heavy. Should be comfortable for all but the steamiest of summer days.

Don't ever stop making these jeans,EVER! ...please

I've been wearing these jeans forever and through every "stone washed", ripped faded fancy jean fad that comes around. If you want to be fashionable, wear the classic! They come dark and stiff and as you wear them they learn to fit you like a glove until they are baby soft and light blue. A real man's jean!

I really like the dark finish without all of the whiskering. Nice heavy weight. They were a little long but after a couple of times through the washer and dryer, I had them altered and now they're perfect.
