The people who wore 501, 50 years ago still want to wear those same pants, the same fit, but our bodies have changed shape. Here's the jeans that fit me today, like my 501s did in the 60s and 70s. With just a tiny bit of stretch. Finally!. Thanks.

The right fit and great on-line service!

I bought some 502 jeans at a Levi's retail store and liked them so much that I bought a different color of the same on-line. There was a great sale price and the item was shipped and received in very short order!

Perfect fit and super comfortable

I’ve always been a solid 36x32, and these fit great. A nice relaxed fit and not baggy. Nice taper down to the ankles and an overall great looking jean!

Where are the good old jeans?

I have a hard time finding the heavy weight, nicely textured jeans that would sit at or above waist.
My waist is 32, I can easily find height 30, but 29 and 28 are almost non-existing.

Why did these come REEKING of MOTHBALLS?

These were on sale and they are about as basic as blue jeans come, which is fine! Everyone needs a basic blue jean. HOWEVER… These came smelling strongly of mothballs. And when I say strongly, I mean I sprayed cologne on them, wore them to work, came home washed them with scented detergent, air dried them, sprayed them with antibacterial fabric freshener, and wore them again, and they still faintly smell of mothballs. Never experienced this from Levi’s but yeah, not a pleasant experience.

I have a pair of these and really like them. I have been wearing Levi’s forever. I am not happy with the inconsistency and items being unavailable. I enjoyed Levi’s for the legacy fit and consistency. I can’t find the same fit twice anymore. I do not want to change my style every time I purchase pants. Levi’s has lost its luster for this 50year old who was a loyal supporter and fan. I know Levi’s doesn’t care about the aging supporter as much as they care about the future customer.
