I was looking for something lighter weight than jeans for summer. Although the chambray wasn't as lightweight as I expected, the relaxed fit makes them comfortable and airy on warm days. The leg length is just long enough for me, they graze the top of my shoes.

What can I say, I've wanted to own a pair of Levi's for the past 26 years but affordability or life got in the way! Now I'm nearly in my 50's and decided to think about me. These jeans are awesome! Elastic waist -tick for the perimenopause!, decent mid rise-tick for us shorties.( I loathe high rise and they're everywhere!) Yes they were too long for 5ft me but I hemmed them up. I went on my first solo holiday and these jeans were worn almost everyday! They're comfortable, versatile, can be dressed up or down but most of all I felt comfortable and stylish. Thank you Levi's for the brilliant wide leg design and the great price I paid for them. These will be my forever jeans in my capsule wardrobe. I can finally say I own a pair of Levi's!!!
