I bought these as a gift for my son. They were in the sale and I also had a £10 voucher to use as a red tab member. The fit is true to size, the quality is excellent and the price great. I ordered these in the build up to Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery, which was free as a res tab member. I would highly recommend this product. It is also well worth joining the red tab scheme for the loyalty points as well as other offers. Levi's are always my first port of call for jeans.

These are great for the value and versatility. The material is definitely lightweight, I don’t think they’ll end up with a soft, broken-in finish, nor do I think they’re intended that way. They’re crisp, fantastic for humid climates, and drape nicer than heavier chinos. I like the back pocket flaps and denim-style button on the waist, adds a casual touch. I’ve worn these with a polo (can even go down to a t-shirt if you feel inclined), and also a blazer and tie. A higher rise helps with overall fit, I appreciate that rises are creeping higher in newer releases. I’d say they sit just a smidge lower than a fresh pair of STF 501’s. The “relaxed fit” is really more of a classic straight fit. They have the slightest taper from the knee down, nothing visually drastic, just enough to let one’s thighs breathe. One more thing to note, while I endorse these chinos as nice for casual wear, they need to be hit with an iron out of the washer. The lightweight material wrinkles too much out of the wash. Only have to do it once though, wrinkles fall out nicely, just don’t expect to look pristine. Props to Levi’s for a pair of chinos with a good cut, nice details, and no stretch.
