Fit is as I expected 100% cotton 501’s to fit. I prefer to buy shorts one size bigger than pants. They are perfect. Love the color and I’m looking forward to wearing them when it’s warm!

I was so excited to get these shorts, and almost convinced myself to keep them but the sizing is very off. I typically wear size 24 to 26. Since these are high rise, I went with a size 25 because I didn't want them to be too loose. It says it's true to size, but it isn't. It fits me like a size 23 would, tight to the point I can barely close it, and once closed it is too tight to sit or do anything else. It is highly uncomfortable. The color is beautiful. The cut is great. The size is tight - which would be fine if they had free returns, I would have just exchanged but with 8$ the return, I'm just returning and leaving it at that as I don't want to risk getting a size 26 or 27 and be stuck having to pay again.

I bought a pair of size 10 jeans on this site a little while back and they fit great. But, so many of the other jeans, including these, are sized by waist inches. So, I look at the size chart and it says size 10 = size 30. So, I ordered that, and these are WAAAYYY too small. So, I don't even know how many sizes to go up. Why can't all the sizes just be the same? I doubt I'll ever order again, the one pair that fit was like a miracle in the "ordering pants online" game.
