Purchase a 32 instead of 31 due to the 1% elasticity. Wish I had stick to my regular size 31, because the shorts do get loose after a while.

These shorts are perfect! I read the reviews and ordered what I thought would be the appropriate size as they do not stretch. I normally wear a size 4 in shorts and I ordered the 28 in these. Great fit. Not too long, just long enough.

Perfect Shorts

I absolutely love these shorts. They are the perfect length to roll up or leave them kind of messy. They have a vintage feel and I love that they don't stretch out. The color is spot on. They do run small. I'm normally a size 26 in Levi's and I ended up with a size 29. I do like my cut off shorts to be a bit bigger. Overall, I would call this an excellent purchase and I highly recommend you check them out for yourself.

Trendy & comfortable shorts

Based on the reviews available, I sized up two sizes and ordered the Donate Next shorts in a size 32. I typically wear an 8–10/M in bottoms, and I'm 4'11", 130 lbs, with a postpartum body.
They fit perfectly, comfortably high-waisted with a button fly and a flattering fit through the leg that wasn't too tight or too loose. I felt confident and comfortable wearing them all day.
I love the mid-thigh length, but I cuffed them in my photo because it was hot in Florida. They stayed rolled up from 6 am to 11 pm, which was a nice bonus. The waistband relaxed slightly throughout the day, but the shorts stayed comfortable without stretching out or losing their shape like some denim does. They wash well and air dry nicely. They feel a bit stiff after air drying but soften quickly with a few minutes on low heat in the dryer with wool dryer balls.
I like the Levis 501 mid-thigh shorts so much that I ordered another pair in a different wash.
