Nice quality shirt with a good fit. I went with a small, which is what I usually go for for button up and button down type shirts and this one was great. I think the color scheme is good for the holidays obviously and I think it was pretty soft. The material was pretty good overall of comfortable shirt. The material feels solid enough. I would say you could wear it close button or you can wear it open as an over shirt like the title suggests.

Great heavy flannel. Blue plaid shirt is much nicer in person. What looks like white is actually gray, so it's more subtle. Looks good.
