Take Your Wardrobe from Winter to Spring

March 1, 2020

Remember shorts? And tank tops and flip flops and tropical drinks with tiny umbrellas? Warmer weather is calling, and we’re ready to pack our heavy puffers away and swap in lighter pieces.

While we’re in the so-called shoulder season (not quite winter, not quite spring), we get to brighten up our wardrobes while still staying warm. And the best part is, the Trucker Jacket you already know and love is going to come in handy. Follow along as we show you how to recreate some of our favorite winter-to-spring looks.

A statement jacket is easy to love. It makes dressing in funky transitional weather a thing to embrace (just layer a sweater underneath when it’s nippy; or tie it around your waist when the heat kicks in), and lends polish to any outfit. You’re going to want to wear our Levi’s® Made & Crafted® oversized Trucker Jacket all the time — it’s easy to throw on over a tee and cutoffs, but goes just as well with a dress, draped over your shoulders on chilly nights.

When the weather still calls for pants and a jacket but you’re tired of your winter uniform, play with variations on monochrome. Wear a bright Trucker Jacket with matching pants, or grab a jacket and jeans that are in the same color family (like rust and dark khaki, or baby blue and indigo).

In spring and summer, light denim rules. We like it because it goes well with just about anything, like our Cubano Shirt in a dark tropical print, an oversized Trucker Jacket with ivory details or a colorful patchwork corduroy jacket (which looks even cooler buttoned up and worn as a shirt). Just remember to keep a stain remover pen on hand, and you and your light denim will always be on good terms.
